Historic  Sportscar  Racing

HSR is a sportscar racing series that takes legendary racecars from the past and gives them new life on various tracks around North America. From vintage Ford Mustangs to rare Endurance Prototypes, there is a wide range of race classes to watch go wheel to wheel with other cars on the track. In the same way, some may claim older cars are better than new releases, I sought to figure out whether older vintage lenses are better than newer auto focus lenses. Sure of course newer lenses have far more advantages than older vintage glass but I was more curious as to how these lenses perform and as to how sports photographers managed to capture images on film cameras. Turns out it takes a lot of preparation and patience. I couldn’t imagine the amount of film old photographers went through for just one shot. Thank goodness for SD Cards and sensor stabilization.
